The Kingman Concert Band, following in the long tradition of community concert bands across the country, has performed for the Kingman and Mohave County area since its founding in 1998. The band is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all-volunteer organization sponsored by the Kingman Parks & Recreation Department. We play a variety of music, with marches the staple of the repertoire, but including overtures, big band tunes and novelty songs as well. The complete repertoire is available at this website and we urge you to look it over.

The band welcomes new members, providing a forum for adults over 18 years of age who wish to play good music, engage the community, and have fun! The only requirements are an ability to read music and play an instrument. We accept members of all skill levels in woodwinds, brass and percussion. Musicians are required to provide their own instruments, with the exception of percussionists. We are particularly in search of musicians that play woodwind and percussion instruments at the present time.

Rehearsals are held every Monday night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., meeting in the Kingman Middle School band room. The school is located at 1969 Detroit Avenue in Kingman. (map) As rehearsals are held at the school, the band does not rehearse when school is out of session.

We urge all local musicians, professional or amateur, of any skill level who love to play to get the instruments out of the closet, dust them off, and come join us for fun and companionship.
